We are the official home to one of the fastest growing sports in the world – Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our principle purpose is to raise the regulation, governance and credibility of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the UK. Our primary objective is to help individual academies to grow and develop because strong, thriving academies are essential to the continued success and expansion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the UK.
We have recently become affiliated with the British Judo Association (BJA), the National Governing Body for Judo in the UK. The BJA will be providing guidance and advice to our Association on crucial areas such as coaching and Academy development. It also means that the BJJ UKC will comply with the rules and ethics of good governance, and administration that Sport England would expect of any independent, nationally recognised Governing Body.
